Le Mouvement d’Après is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where individuals of all abilities—both able-bodied and those living with disabilities—can come together to share the joy, empowerment, and freedom of movement. We believe that physical activity is not only a source of health and fitness but also a bridge that connects people, builds confidence, and celebrates the limitless potential of the human body and spirit.

Our mission is to make sport and physical activity accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ability, or background. Through carefully designed programs in strength training, cardiovascular exercise, and adapted motor activities for children as young as 10 months old, we promote physical development, creativity, and personal growth. We strive to help every participant discover their unique potential while fostering empathy, cooperation, and inclusion through shared movement experiences.

Our Mission

At Le Mouvement d’Après, our mission is clear and heartfelt:
To create a community where everyone—whether facing physical challenges or not—can engage in meaningful physical activity, develop their abilities, and experience the transformative power of sport.

We are committed to:

  • Accessibility: Ensuring that sports and physical activities are open to all, with programs tailored to each individual’s needs and abilities.

  • Inclusion: Promoting a culture of respect and equality where every participant, regardless of physical condition, feels valued and empowered.

  • Education: Encouraging physical literacy and body awareness from an early age, helping children and adults alike understand and embrace movement as a lifelong skill.

  • Well-being: Supporting the mental, emotional, and social well-being of all participants through physical expression, teamwork, and positive community engagement.

Our mission goes beyond exercise. It is about fostering a sense of belonging, confidence, and joy through shared experiences in movement—transforming challenges into strengths and differences into opportunities for growth.

Our Vision

We envision a world where movement is truly universal—where sport is not defined by competition, but by connection. Le Mouvement d’Après aims to be a model for inclusive physical education and adapted sport, inspiring communities to rethink what it means to move, play, and grow together.

Our vision for the future includes:

  • Expanding Accessibility: Creating more inclusive training spaces, adaptive programs, and accessible facilities so that everyone, regardless of mobility or condition, can participate fully.

  • Raising Awareness: Changing public perceptions of disability and ability through advocacy, education, and public events that showcase the power of inclusion through movement.

  • Building Partnerships: Collaborating with local institutions, schools, healthcare professionals, and sports organizations to develop holistic programs that integrate health, rehabilitation, and community engagement.

  • Empowering Youth: Encouraging children from infancy to adolescence to explore their potential through safe, playful, and educational physical activities that nurture both body and mind.

  • Creating a Global Model: Inspiring other communities and organizations to replicate our inclusive approach, helping to build a world where movement belongs to everyone.

At the heart of our vision is the belief that movement is a language of unity—one that transcends difference, connects hearts, and celebrates diversity in every form.

Our Values

Our work is guided by a strong set of values that shape our identity and drive every action we take:

  1. Inclusion:
We celebrate diversity and strive to eliminate barriers that prevent participation. Inclusion is not just an idea—it is a daily practice reflected in every session, every adaptation, and every interaction.

  2. Respect:
We honor each individual’s journey, abilities, and challenges. Our programs are built on empathy and understanding, creating an atmosphere of trust and mutual encouragement.

  3. Empowerment:
We believe that movement can transform lives. By helping individuals discover their strength and potential, we empower them to grow, achieve independence, and live with confidence.

  4. Innovation:
We continuously adapt and develop new training methods to meet diverse physical and cognitive needs, ensuring that our activities remain effective, creative, and inspiring.

  5. Community:
Le Mouvement d’Après is more than a place to exercise—it is a community. We promote teamwork, friendship, and shared success, knowing that collective growth creates lasting change.

  6. Joy of Movement:
Above all, we celebrate the joy that comes from movement. Whether it’s a child’s first steps, an athlete’s personal milestone, or a participant discovering a new ability, we value every expression of progress and happiness.

Our Programs and Approach

Le Mouvement d’Après offers a wide range of inclusive programs designed for different age groups and physical abilities:

  • Early Motor Development: Activities for children starting at 10 months old, focusing on sensory exploration, coordination, and psychomotor development.

  • Adapted Physical Training: Personalized strength and cardio programs that accommodate various physical conditions, allowing everyone to train safely and effectively.

  • Artistic and Creative Expression: Integrating dance, rhythm, and movement-based art to help participants explore the connection between body, mind, and creativity.

  • Inclusive Sports Workshops: Group sessions where participants of all abilities work together, encouraging social inclusion and shared learning.

Each program is guided by professionals in physical education, adaptive sports, and rehabilitation. Our team’s holistic approach ensures that movement is not only physical but also emotional, social, and creative—promoting full-person development.

A Movement for the Future

Le Mouvement d’Après stands for a future where inclusion is natural, not exceptional. We are building a world where children grow up understanding that ability comes in many forms, where adults find renewed purpose through physical activity, and where communities thrive on empathy, collaboration, and movement.

By supporting Le Mouvement d’Après, you join a movement that believes everyone deserves the right to move, to grow, and to belong. Together, we are shaping a more inclusive, compassionate, and active society—one step, one movement, one heart at a time.
